Once you have scheduled your family mediation session with Family Bridge Mediation, our office will promptly reach out to all parties involved to provide a Mediation Engagement Agreement. This agreement is an important document that clearly outlines the confirmed date, time, and location of your session. In addition, it details the mediation fee schedule, along with other essential guidelines and expectations. Reviewing and completing this agreement is the first step in ensuring that everyone is fully prepared and on the same page before the session begins.

This checklist provides a step-by-step guide on what to bring, what to consider, and how to prepare mentally and practically for the process. Important Confirmation Requirements

In order to officially confirm your scheduled mediation session, all parties are required to do the following:

• Review, sign, and return the Mediation Engagement Agreement.
• Submit the mediation deposit as outlined in the agreement.

It is important to note that if a cancellation occurs with less than 72 hours’ notice, the mediation deposit will be forfeited. Exceptions to this policy may be considered if a cancellation is due to good cause, though such determinations are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Document Submission Requirements

After the mediation has been confirmed, each participant will receive a follow-up email from our office. This email will include a list of specific documents that must be provided prior to the mediation. To allow adequate review and preparation, all requested documents must be submitted no later than 48 hours before the scheduled session.
